are series of articles for life assurance professionals in the UK and the respective other markets. Their purpose is to share knowledge gleaned by Gen Re as we carry out research into the risks that affect the profitability of life protection business.

Underwriting Focus  provides Life/Health underwriters with an ongoing information about general aspects and new tendencies in underwriting. Underwriting Focus is published semiannually and focuses on current medical and non-medical topics along with detailed case samples. In addition, each issue contains a "look across the fence" at underwriting practices in other countries.
